CEO | Founder

Francis Coady has more than two decades of experience in film, TV, digital streaming, music, entertainment, and advertising. Grand Pacific Advisory represents a return to his entertainment roots and a continued commitment to harnessing authentic stories to ignite and engage audiences.
 
Before launching GPA, Francis was the Chief Marketing and Content Officer at Havas Media Network Australia (Vivendi), one of the world’s most progressive media agencies. There, he established Havas Sports & Entertainment, a content, activation, and partnership division that worked with clients including Virgin Australia, Gillette, and the NSW Government. He developed the award-winning content series "THE LONG ROAD," starring notable Australian talents Guy Sebastian and Amy Shark. The series amassed millions of views, showcasing Francis’ ability to create compelling entertainment.
 
Francis’ illustrious career includes founding and executive producing the iconic Bondi Short Film Festival for thirteen years, where he mentored emerging film directors, screenwriters, and producers. 

At Merchantwise Group, he forged partnerships with major film studios like Sony Pictures, 20th Century Fox, and Paramount.

In the music industry, Francis managed the iconic rock group Thirsty Merc and the global TV children’s group Hi-5, achieving significant milestones including double-platinum albums and multi-episode TV and film deals with Nickelodeon, Hoyts, and Network 10 (Paramount).

 

Francis lives in Sydney, Australia with his wife and daughter. He is an avid surfer and writer who believes that stories can create real change.
